Isa 40:28
Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.

Greetings from Senegal! We are so grateful for the great and might God who we serve. We are praying soon many Mandinkas will acknowledge Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Thank you for praying for the Mandinka people. We are in the capital, Dakar, for a little longer. Richard went to South Africa in January for some tests. He had a great report, but he still is not permitted to go back to Sedhiou. We are very disappointed, but God is Good. We are planning to stay in Dakar until the end of the calendar year. We are continuing to look for Mandinka speakers as we go about the city. The Urban team has started some ministry opportunities at our company’s center. We are helping with an English as a Second Language (ESL) class a couple of nights a week. The majority of our students are Mandinka speakers. Scripture is part of our curriculum. This is a lot of fun and a great opportunity to build relationships and share the Gospel. Please pray for these young people to hear English, but even more for them to grasp just how much Christ loves them.

Our main contact with Sedhiou is via phone right now. We have made phone contacts with some who were interested or made professions of faith during the cataract surgery clinic. Please pray that through SD and other Great Commission Christians they will be discipled. Patrick and I plan to make a trip to Sedhiou soon and hope to visit with as many people as we can.

It looks like this countries elections will have a second round. That is supposed to happen around the third week in March. Please pray for peace during this time. Thank you not growing weary of praying for the Mandinka people.
