Dear Faithful Ones,
Greetings from West Africa. We pray you are experiencing an enjoyable and blessed holiday season. May God so fill your spirit and life that the year 2001 will be characterized by an insatiable desire for Him! We would ask that same prayer for ourselves.
In John 12, Jesus summarized His message and purpose on earth:
When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.
As I write this, the Islamic month-long fast of Ramadan has ended. Our friends spent the last 30 days hoping this physical denial would please God and give them "a good place in heaven". But now, itÂ’s back to life as usual. Please pray with us that our MNK friends will see their need for a daily relationship with God, not only an annual one.
